On June 13, two suspects were apprehended at around 11:55 p.m. in Barangay Balabag, said Police Officer 3 Eric Lachica, investigator of Provincial Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operation Task Group (PAIDSOTG).

A police asset handed P2,000 to Enriquez including the P1,000 marked money in exchange for two suspected sachets of methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu during the operation.

Seized from Capitin were eight suspected sachets of shabu and a mobile phone containing text messages of drug transactions.

Meanwhile, at around 1:40 a.m. Sunday, joint operatives of Aklan PAIDSOTG led by Senior Inspector Bernard Ufano and Boracay Tourist Assistance Center (BTAC) chief Senior Inspector Frensy Andrade also arrested another drug suspect in Barangay Manoc-Manoc.

He was caught selling a plastic sachet of suspected shabu to a poseur-buyer for P1,000. Also confiscated from Noarin were two pieces of plastic sachets containing residue of suspected shabu and a mobile phone.
