Aklan thanks Typhoon Yolanda benefactors

Local and international donors and benefactors for Aklan’s relief and rehabilitation efforts after super typhoon Yolanda will be recognized by the provincial government of Aklan in a fitting ceremony on April 25.

To date, the provincial government of Aklan will honor more than 40 companies and corporations, non-government organizations, government offices, rescuers, private and public representatives for their generosity and assistance and in rebuilding the lives of typhoon Yolanda victims.

The recognition coincides with the 58^th founding anniversary celebration of the Aklan on Friday, a special non-working holiday by virtue of Republic Act No. 1414 signed by then President Ramon Magsaysay on April 25, 1956.

The list of benefactors, partners and rescuers who aided the province of Aklan in the aftermath of typhoon Yolanda are:
