Smart Travel is Asia's dedicated online travel magazine with over one million readers annually. The travel poll, now in its sixth year, ran for three key months of May to July.
The vote is based on substantial hands-on travel experience, word-of-mouth at dinnertime chats, as well as an idea of the brand drawn from advertising and editorial exposure in the media. Approximately 60 percent were based in Asia (largely Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong, India, China, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, and the Middle East), 20 percent in United Kingdom and Europe and 20 percent in United States and North America.
Nonsense!!Who benefited in the so called prominence and fame of Boracay?..Malaynon?... By no means sigurado nga indi kami kundi manga tikalon nga mga negosyante nga Kalibonhon ag mga pulitiko sa Aklan! Pobre pa gihapon ang mga Malaynon. Mas naging malisod pa pangabuhi dahil naging sobra mahal ang balaklon!!
ReplyDeleteThere are malaynons and boracaynons who are businessmen in the island. ask them if they benefited.
ReplyDeleteAgree, there are malaynons and boracaynons who benefited in the "fame and glory" of boracay...But it is proportionate to those from other places?...Sin-o ang mas naka kurakot sa proyekto para sa Boracay? Tanan bala puro taga Malay o Boracay? O mas maabu taga inyo sa sidlangan? Pero kami sa Malay ang naga antos sa sobra mahal sang balaklon!...Dumduma ang mga Ati ang tumandok sa Boracay bukon tana kamo!
ReplyDelete"Those of you who are complaining, adopt to the change...We are complaining because we are true Aklanons who are directly affected by too much commercialization and prostitution of Boracay! What change are you talking about?..Boracay deteriorated tremendously! IKUMPARA mo Boracay ngayon sa itsura nya noon!! gumanda ba ang Boracay? O bagong salta ka lang sa Boracay kaya ang nakita mo lang ay islang puno ng basura at drug addicts? What can you say about the projects in Boracay/Caticlan that are peppered with anomalies and corruptions? Puro lang kamo wakal! Diin kamo tang wala pa turista sa Boracay?
ReplyDeleteBoracay Island is better for the holiday which is located in Aklan province just 345 km South of Manila. You’ll find lots of magnificent beaches over there like White Beach, Diniwid, Balinghai Beach, Manoc-manoc Beach and Cagban Beach.
ReplyDeleteI’d definitely recommend travelers to take a tour towards this place.
