Mutya it Kalibo Ati-Atihan 2019 finalists named

Beauty queens in Aklan were named by Ati-Atihan pageant organizer as finalists of Mutya it Kalibo Ati-Atihan 2019.

The screening of candidates was held on October 21 at Aklan Trade Hall in Capitol Site, Kalibo, Aklan by Kalibo Sto. Nino Ati-Atihan Foundation, Inc. (Kasafi).

Sixteen finalists were selected from 26 aspirants eligible to undergo the screening, said pageant director Albert Menez.

2016 Miss Nabas Tourism Nicole Angela Crescini and 2018 Diwata kang Madja-as Jamaica Venturillo from Nabas, Aklan, and 2018 Ms. Metro titlist Francesca Beatriz Abalajon from Kalibo, Aklan led the latest batch of Mutya finalists hoping to wear the crown and title this January.

Other finalists are Philiana Hedy Zante from Libacao; Sofia Claire Inocentes and Shenna Ellica Retiro from New Washington; Shenna Adrien Pador from Altavas; Maria Ramona Nieto, Princess Shemith Filomeno and Aubrey Denille Sy from Kalibo; Arlene Faye Beltran and Mary Anne Lopez from Numancia; Jamella Jane Remaneses from Banga, and Cuty Ann Guzman, Gina May Curises and Pearly Ann Libuton, all from Nabas.

The young ladies will compete in talent, swimsuit, evening gown, festival costume, production number and on-stage interview. 

The 9th edition of the prestigious Mutya it Kalibo Ati-Atihan pageant will take place in Gov. Augusto B. Legaspi Sports and Cultural Center in Kalibo, Aklan on January 11, 2019.

The outgoing titleholder Gracel Gilongos will also crown her successor in the grand finale.
