The
acting police provincial director of Aklan will be reassigned in one of the
operational support units of the Philippine National Police (PNP) headquarters
in Camp Crame.

Senior
Superintendent John Mitchell Jamili will report at the National Support Unit-Maritime
Group after a brief stint with Aklan Police Provincial Office (APPO).
Jamili,
who served APPO for more than one year, was lauded for his performance in
anti-illegal drugs campaign and for initiating the drug-reform program “Bagong
Buhay (Baghay)” for drug surrenderees in Aklan.
Jamili
also thanked the local officials for the opportunity given to him to serve APPO
from January 2016 until the last week of March 2017.
Superintendent
Pedro Enriquez, deputy Aklan police provincial director, will temporarily take the helm of APPO as a
result of reassignment.
The
Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) has yet to designate a new Aklan provincial
police director, but, the name of Senior Superintendent Julio Gustilo, Jr. is a
top candidate for the position.
Gustilo
currently head the Personnel and Human Resource Management Division of PRO-6 in
Iloilo City.
