Jail visitor hides shabu inside her vagina

A female visitor was arrested inside the jail facility in Kalibo, Aklan after she allegedly brought illegal drugs on Thursday afternoon.

Cecille Nervar, 38, allegedly hid inside her vagina three sachets of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu. She entered the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) premises in Barangay Nalook at around 3 p.m.

Senior Jail Officer 3 Rolyn Malolos, officer-in-charge of BJMP-Aklan, said the suspect underwent body search and inspection before she proceeded inside the comfort room.

Malolos said they put on hold Nervar in the searching room when the jail officers noticed that there was something wrong with her. 

“She stayed longer in the comfort room for 10 to 15 minutes and did not proceeded directly to the visitor’s area after the initial body search,” he added. 

Nervar was told to undergo another body search by a female jail officer. 

Malolos said the suspected shabu were found inside the visitor’s pocket. 

Nervar, who resides at Barangay Camanci Norte, Numancia, Aklan, was going to visit inmate Randy Melgarejo, who was jailed for involving in a drug case. 

She will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 for illegal transport of drugs. 

Confiscated dangerous drugs were sent to the Philippine National Police Crime Laboratory for qualitative and quantitative examination.

 

Last October, a college student was also apprehended by jail officers when he went inside the BJMP with illegal drugs hidden inside a fish. 

A female visitor was also nabbed last year when she tried to smuggle a sachet of suspected shabu hidden inside her bra.
