To achieve a highly capable, credible and effective police service, the Kalibo police station has created a Municipal Advisory Council, a multi-sectoral body to institutionalize the Integrated Transformation Program-Performance Governance System (ITP-PGS) of the organization.

Kalibo police chief Superintendent Aden Lagradante said the local advisory and consultative council is composed of individuals delegated by the Kalibo police station to guide assist and identify strategic issues in the implementation of ITP-PGS 2030 or the Philippine National Police PATROL (Peace and order Agenda for Transformation and upholding of the Rule-Of-Law) Plan 2030.

The council is also an oversight body with members representing the public and private sector and key stakeholders who are known for their credibility, probity and leadership.

The council is composed of Sangguniang Bayan member Augusto Tolentino, Municipal Local Government Operations Officer Maricel Bechayda, Gerwin Garwin of Kalibo Ati-Atihan Accommodations Association, Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas Aklan chapter chairman Ron Bautista, Provincial Legal Officer Atty. Lee Manares, Dr. Noe Buncalan of Aklan Catholic College, municipal court employee Ramon Manuel Felipe Mayor, Rev. Fr. Ulysses Dalida of the Diocese of Kalibo and community volunteer Boy Ryan Zabal.

PGS became the strategy management tool of the PNP ITP in attaining its vision and strategic direction by 2030.

In adopting the PGS, the organization has retooled the PNP’s transformation efforts to assess the performance of PNP units through the submission of reports, holding of periodic review and publishing of scorecards.
