barangays in the town of Madalag will have direct and available services from
the national and local government on February 15.
To be launched in Barangay
Alas-as in Madalag is the “Gobyerno sa Baryo” campaign of Aklan Governor
Florencio Miraflores and Aklan Rep. Teodorico Haresco, Jr. The program is committed to bring the

Panipiason, Mamba, Alas-as, Guinatu-an, Dit-ana and Logohon. These barangays
can avail of the frontline services offered by the government.

medical, social welfare and agricultural and fishery.
Personnel from the Philippine
Army, National Statistics Office (NSO) and the Provincial Treasurer’s Office,
to name a few, will be on hand also to allow common residents access to the
services of the government.
Many far-flung
communities, for sure, welcomed the idea who had to travel long distances from Madalag to the capital town of Kalibo for
government services.
Madalag is a fourth class municipality and about 33 kms south of Kalibo. The town has 25 barangays.
