Rock bands onstage for Hala Bira Ati-Atihan nights

Pinoy alternative rock bands and popular DJs will give locals and tourists a taste of festive experience as they perform their hits in Hala Bira Ati-Atihan Nights in Kalibo Magsaysay Park.

The 2019 Hala Bira Ati-Atihan Nights are organized by Kalibo Sto. Nino Ati-Atihan Foundation, Inc. (Kasafi) and the municipal government of Kalibo, Aklan in collaboration with Globe Telecoms, Coca Cola Bottlers Philippines and San Miguel Brewery, Inc.

Rendition8 from Iloilo City, DJ Cha Cha, DJ JN Ruiz and MC Noah will entertain the music lovers and foodies with their feel-good music on January 15.   

Sponge Cola will be headlining the Ati-Atihan night on January 16. The band will set up the good vibes with their signature hits “XGF”, “Puso”, “Bitiw” and “Tuliro”. 

The rock band is composed of Gosh Dilay (bass), Yael Yuzon (vocals), Ted Mark Cruz (drums) and Erwin Armovit (lead guitars).

DJ Alex Atendido will be joining on January 16. 

On January 17, the rock band Teeth will perform their all-too familiar alternative rock and grunge songs. The band well known for their hit songs “Princesa”, “Laklak” “Shooting Star” is composed of Mike Dizon on drums, Andrew Sergio and Jerome Velasco on guitars, Pedz Narvaja  on bass and Glenn Jacinto on vocals.

The band will be joined onstage by Absynth and DJ Alex Buday.

Moonstar88 will make noise with their popular Filipino classics and anthems “Torete”, “Can’t Stop” and “Senti” on January 18. The pop and alt-rock is composed of Buddy Zabala on bass, Maysh Baay on guitars and vocals, Herbert Hernandez on lead guitars and Bon Sundiang on drums and vocals.

Also performing are Cry Motion and DJ AJ Ferrer and MC Yankee.

On January 19, the iconic rock band Franco will perform their hard rock, reggae rock and alternative metal with their hit songs “Touch the Sky”, “Seasons” and “Castaway”.

The band is composed of Paul Canada on guitars, Dave Delfin on bass, Victor Guison on drums and Franco Reyes on lead vocals and guitars.

Meanwhile,  Callalily will conquer the stage at Kalibo Pastrana Park on January 17 with Mabuhay Maritime Express, Philippine Airlines, Mabuhay Miles in partnership with  Kasafi and the municipal government of Kalibo, Aklan.
