The top business and real
property taxpayers for 2018 in Kalibo, Aklan were honored on November 3.
The companies and individuals were
recognized for their significant contributions to the development that benefits
the constituents of the first-class municipality.
Kalibo mayor William Lachica and Kalibo municipal treasurer Rey Villaruel handed the plaques of appreciation in the awarding ceremony as part of the town’s 447th foundation day celebration.
Joining them were Sangguniang Panlalawigan member Immanuel Sodusta and Kalibo vice mayor Madeline Regalado.
Leading the top 10 business taxpayers were Sanford Marketing Corporation (CityMall Kalibo), Citi Hardware Bacolod Incorporated, Regalado and Cipriano Supermart Incorporated (RC Supermart), Clifford Construction Corporation and Sakura Autoworld Incorporated (Suzuki Auto Kalibo).
Also in the list were L’Bros Incorporated (Royal Supermart), Emcor Incorporated, Paramount Ang Corporation (Mang Inasal), Golden Arches Development Corporation (McDonalds Kalibo) and Masing and Son’s Development Corporation.
Lachica also bestowed the Hall of Fame award to Mercury Drug Corporation while First Pacific Fortune Commercial Corporation / Heva Management Development Corporation (Gaisano Capital Kalibo) received the sustainability award.
This year's top 10 real property taxpayers were CityMall Commercial Center Incorporated, Rodulfo and Waldetrudes Garcia / Ariel and Caridad Garcia, Royal Four Season Corporation and Roberto and Editha Sazon / Panay Telephone Corporation /Marzon Hotel.
Also recognized as top real property taxpayers were Ang Pue Hardware and Lumber/ Clifford Construction Corporation, William Hui Ti, Lysa Ti Uy and Lyna Hui Ti (KH Shopping Center), Vallacar Transit Incorporated, Fu’s Merchandise de Kalibo Incorporated, Citi Hardware Bacolod Incorporated and Regalado and Cipriano Supermart Incorporated.
The mayor also presented the sustainability award to Heva Management Development Corporation (Gaisano Capital Kalibo).
