The
Kiwanis clubs of Philippine South District will gather in the “City of Smiles”
on September 13 to 15 for the annual convention.
The
convention hotel is L’Fisher Hotel in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental with
participants from 117 local clubs in 10 divisions stretching across Visayas and
Mindanao regions.
The convention is a chance for nearly 500 delegates to establish valuable ties and friendships, meet new friends and connect with old ones as well as to share Kiwanis club project successes.
Aside from fun-filled evening of entertainment and fellowship, the convention promises to offer more to Kiwanians.
The convention program includes district election of officers, plenary sessions, trainings, inspiring speeches, social activities and other meetings for the three-day event.
District Governor Allan Agbones is presiding the 43rd annual district convention with Kiwanis International (KI) president Jame ‘Jim’ Rochford and KI president-designate Florencio ‘Poly’ Lat from Philippine Luzon District gracing the activities.
Since 2015, Kiwanis empowers communities to improve the world by making lasting differences in the lives of children.
