Christopher Mendoza of BTAC’s Police Community Relations said the police
station is actively advocating projects for Sambayan or the Community Affairs
Services and Santinig or the Quad media activities in print, broadcast and
internet.
Sambayan aims to strengthen police-community
partnership in addressing peace and order concerns, to organize and mobilize
sectors of the community as a united front against threats to peace and
security and to help empower and
develop people’s proactive response towards community involvement.
The consistent involvement of the local
police also brings positive impact to the citizenry in Family
Juvenile Gender Advocacy and Development (FJGAD) and the Sala'am activities
with Muslim brothers.
For the first
quarter, BTAC garnered 142 points for joint police community-initiated
activities followed by Buruanga police station with 141 points and Kalibo
police station with 136 points.
Altavas was ranked 4th
with 133 points, Malay (132), Malinao (131), while New Washington, Makato and
Numancia police stations tied for 7th place with 129 points.

with their rankings were Libacao and Banga (128), Madalag (126), Lezo (125), Balete
(124), Batan and Nabas (121), Tangalan and Ibajay (118) and Aklan Public Safety
