Free public viewing of Pacquiao-Bradley fight

This Sunday, the public viewing of Filipino boxing champion Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Ray Bradley much-awaited boxing fight will be shown live for free in sports complexes and covered courts in Aklan. 

In Kalibo, Aklan, thousands of local residents will have the chance to watch the boxing rematch on giant screens in Gov. Augusto B. Legaspi Sports and Cultural Center.

It is sponsored for free telecast viewing by the Kalibo Cable Television Network (KCTN) and the provincial government of Aklan led by Aklan Governor Florencio Miraflores, Aklan Vice Governor Gabrielle Calizo-Quimpo and Aklan Rep. Teodorico Haresco, Jr. 

KCTN and the municipal governments will also treat the boxing aficionados for a free live telecast of Pacquiao-Bradley 2 at Tangalan Sports and Cultural Center, Balete covered court, Malinao People’s Center, Makato Sports Complex and Nabas covered court. 

As of this writing, Aklan Cable Television Company is showing the fight for free also in Ibajay Sports Complex in cooperation with the local government of Ibajay, Aklan.

Bradley ‘Desert Storm’ will defend his World Boxing Organization welterweight world title rematch against Pacquiao in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday evening (Sunday noon in Manila) under Top Rank Boxing Promotions in association with MP Promotions and Tecate. 

In the undercards, Jose Felix of Mexico and Bryan Vasquez of Costa Rica will slug it out for a 12-round World Boxing Association super featherweight title fight.   

Jessie Vargas of Las Vegas will battle Khabib Allakhverdiev for the WBA interim super lightweight feature fight while Ray Beltran of Mexico and Arash Umanee of Canado are featured in the 10-round feature fight.

Last June 2012, Bradley scored a controversial split decision victory against the Filipino eight-division world champion at MGM Grand Garden Arena.
