Two international ships
are heading to Boracay Island this March, according to Caticlan jetty port
administrator Niven Maquirang.
The Italian large ship
Costa Atlantica will arrive on March 11 and MS Europa 2 on March 20. The two
ships are expected to bring 2,500 additional tourists to Boracay Island.
Maquirang said the MS
Europa 2 will sail for the third time this year to Boracay Island. The cruise
ship made its port call on January 9 and February 17.

Cruises is taking its guests on a 15-day Singapore – Hongkong (Multifaceted
Southeast Asia) culturally rich cruise experience from March 11 to 23.
MS Europa 2 will take travelers
across Southeast Asia spanning five countries. The travelers will discover the beauty
of Binlulu, Sarawak on March 13 and Bendar Seri Begawan, Brunei and will sail
through the scenic Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia on March 15 and Sandakan Sabah and
March 16.
The cruise will sail to
Bohol and Calangaman Island on March 18 and finally arrives in the shores of
Boracay on March 20.
Hongkong, China is the
last destination of MS Europa 2 on March 23.
Maquirang said Boracay
Island is becoming a major cruise destination with topnotch cruise ships
increasing its presence in the region.
