The beach may be the last thing on your mind during this rainy season. But with prime beach resorts dropping their rates for the lean season, it might turn out to be a good time to go after all.

Discovery Shores Boracay announced it is offering its "Great Luxurious Getaway Package" (GLGP) until October 15, where guests can enjoy a 3-day, 2-night stay with airfare and accommodations at special rates.
Package rates go for P18,888 nett per person and up, depending on the choice of room (junior suite, 1-bedroom suite, or 1-bedroom suite premiere).

The package includes a Chef's dinner at Sands Restaurant, a massage at the Terra Wellness Spa, buffet breakfast, airport transfers, and roundtrip airfare via SEAIR.

Guests will also receive a complimentary "Passport to Indulgence" booklet offering discounts in shops in Boracay and Manila.

The newly opened Henann Resort at Alona Beach in Panglao, Bohol, on the other hand, offers guests the opportunity to stay in any of their 12 exclusive villas for P9,240 nett per night, inclusive of breakfast for 2, until September 30.

The villas are surrounded by lush tropical gardens offering views of the sea.

The resort boasts of having the widest beach front along Alona Beach, as well as a 450-square-meter freshwater swimming pool with bar.

Henann Resort was formerly the Alona Palm Beach Resort. It was recently acquired by the Boracay Regency Group of Resorts.
