Napolcom conducts inspection of Aklan police stations

KALIBO, Aklan – The National Police Commission (Napolcom) Regional Office-6 is conducting the regular audit and inspection of the Aklan Police Provincial Office (APPO) personnel starting on Monday.

The inspection covers the accounting of police officers and non-uniformed personnel and the inventory of government-issued firearms and vehicles of APPO, police stations in 17 municipalities of the province and the Boracay Special Tourist Protection Office (BSTPO).
Napolcom inspectors headed by Law Enforcement Evaluation Officer (LEEO) III Nelia Soleterio and Police Inspector II Wilfredo Wulthrich are tasked to conduct the audit and inspection from May 9 to 20.
Napolcom is the agency mandated to administer and control the Philippine National Police (PNP) and has power to investigate police anomalies and irregularities and administer police entrance and promotional examination and dismiss erring police officers.
Napolcom regional director Honey Paredes, acting chief of the Technical Services Division lawyer Jerome Asuga, LEEO’s II Napoleon Arostique, Mary Jan Rodriguez and Ma. Socorro Lorelie Poli and administrative assistant Chiche Arostique were present during the entrance meeting and briefing at Camp Pastor Martelino in Barangay New Buswang, this town, last Monday.
The inspection will also determine the compliance of APPO and its personnel with the policies of Napolcom and the Philippine National Police (PNP).
