Regency Lagoon Boracay to host Mutya it Kalibo Ati-Atihan swimsuit competition

BORACAY - The finest and dazzling beauties of the Mutya it Kalibo Ati-Atihan will participate in the swimsuit competition in the famed island of Boracay on December 18.
Kalibo Sto. Nino Ati-Atihan Foundation Inc. (KASAFI) chairman Albert Menez said the Regency Lagoon Resort Boracay is hosting the swimsuit event.
The 12 lovely aspirants strutting their stuff in sexiest swimsuits are Mary Vhic Mandal, Frendisol Catherine Yco, Caren Braun, Celeste Nepomuceno, Mae Anne Manipud, Shalene Santamaria, Janine Ilio, Krystal Ann Neneria, Sheen Mae Zafra, Hanna Mae Torre, Jona Sweett and Jecca Tenaja.

Regency Lagoon Resort is a triple-A 120-rooms world class hotel owned and managed by Henann Hotel and Resorts with a 1,200 sq.meter lagoon pool, considered the biggest in the island of Boracay. The high end luxurious hotel is the sister hotel of Boracay Regency Beach Resort and Convention Center.

"The generosity and support of resort owner Henry Chusuey and the members of the Boracay Foundation, Inc. through president Loubelle Cann in the hosting of the swimsuit event is appreciated by the KASAFI," Menez said.

The swimsuit presentation, originally scheduled on December 27, is the first event leading to the much-awaited beauty pageant night on January 5, 2011 at the Gov. Augusto B. Legaspi Sports Complex. Festival organizer KASAFI will also gather the 12 contestants for the talent competition on December 23 at the Kalibo Pastrana Park.

Prior to their trip to Boracay, the candidates will be formally presented to the media and sponsors on December 15. The new Mutya it Kalibo Ati-Atihan will be crowned on January 13, 2011 at the Kalibo Magsaysay Park during the Balikbayan and Provincial Nights.
