Nestea beach volley finals tilt in Boracay

BORACAY – The 14th Nestea Fit Beach Volleyball finals plunges into action on April 21 to 25 at the famed island of Boracay.
Defending champions University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF) and the University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJR) will defend their titles against the country’s best volleyball teams.
Out to challenge the reigning titlists in the annual beach volleyball finals are University of Sto. Tomas, Colegio de San Juan de Letran, Foundation University, Maharlika Institute of Technology (MIT), University of Perpetual System-Laguna, Mindanao State University (MSU)-Tawi-Tawi and University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (UNO-R) in the men’s division.
Joining USPF in the women’s bracket are University of St. La Salle-Bacolod, Adamson University (UAAP), MSU-Tawitawi, University of Perpetual Help Dalta System (NCAA), Philippine Christian University-Dasmariñas, University of Mindanao-Tagum, De La Salle-Dasmariñas and Central Philippines University (CPU).
The tandem of Ariel Carumba and Loujei Tipgos of the University of San Jose-Recoletos are the men’s defending champion and University of Southern Philippines-Foundation belles Erika Camille Verano and Apple Eve Saraum in the distaff side.
The champions from the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), State, Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (SCUAA), University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) and other regional crown-holders earn outright entries to the prestigious Boracay beach volley finals.
The champion squads of the summer spikefest will receive the top prize of P100,000 that also showcase beach parties and fashion shows of hotties celebrities, concerts and beach cleanup.
