Boracay PNP nets shabu pusher BY BOY RYAN B. ZABAL / Panay News
BORACAY - A 50-year old man was arrested by operatives of Boracay Special Tourist Protection Office (BSTPO) for illegal drug trafficking on Sunday morning here. Superintendent Arnold Ardiente, BSTPO chief, identified the drug suspect as Rodolfo Senerado, widow, of Brgy. Rizal Estanuela in Iloilo City and presently residing at Sitio Cagban in Barangay Manoc-Manoc. Intelligence operatives led by SPO1 Reynaldo Macario conducted the buy-bust operation at Sitio Cagban at 11 a.m. Recovered from the suspect are four plastic sachets of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu weighing 0.4 grams with an estimated street value of P8,000, wallet, cellphone and P1,000 marked money. Ardiente said the 88-strong BSTPO personnel has intensified their campaign against illegal drugs following the heavy influx of local tourists and foreigners in the island during the peak season. "The suspect (Senerado) was collared after a month-long surveillance. An operative of BSTPO acted as poseur-buyer which led to the arrest of Senerado," the police chief said. Nonetheless, Ardiente stressed that illegal drug activities in the island are not alarming. Senerado is facing criminal charges for violations of Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Acts of 2002. He was detained at BSTPO lock-up cell after his arrest, Ardiente said.

lets be VERY clear about these buy-bust operations.... to the police:
ReplyDeleteWould you PLEASE STOP having dealers sending text messages offering drugs to foreigners?
There isnt a single dealer in the WHOLE DAMN WORLD that spells out the full english spelling and price of drugs on a text message! I'm sick of it! I'm sick of trying to get entrapped for something I dont even do. Do you think everyone hasn't heard that the muslim vendors and prostitutes are collecting a commission for every foreigner they can lure to buy drugs and capture?
I'm sick of it! Lets get the media to look into how many people are caught, then released; how does that happen? Everyone has heard about the arrests. Everyone is hearing about the commission being paid out. So where are the foreign arrests? How did the arrests magically disappear?
It took a month long surveillance to bust a 50 year old man selling drugs??!! Are you kidding me??
ReplyDeleteHow about sitting outside the beach area of summerplace after midnight, or do random searches of the scum that's sitting in summerplace just watching people for their next mark. The police on the island is a joke.
Alot of resort owners have tons of drugs stashed away. You can start by checking out Jay from Bluue Maango. He is a big dealer in the station 3 area.
