BORACAY - Sun worshippers are sure to troop once more to breathtaking Boracay as Century Tuna treats them with a summer like no other via Century Tuna Superbods 2007 Beachfest Grand Finals tonight at Pier One in Boracay.
The country’s leading canned tuna brand is all set to hold the most anticipated image model search this year in one exciting event featuring hot parties, top celebrities, beautiful bodies plus great prizes to be given away to Bora’s beach bums!
The event kicked off with the Century Tuna Lite Moonlight Party last night, where guests, flown in from Manila courtesy of SEAIR, the official airline of Century Tuna Superbods 2007, were treated to a night of chillout music, booze that overflowed to the sea, and sumptuous treats made from Century Tuna Lite.
Today, it will be fun, fun, fun under the sun at the Century Tuna Superbods Beachfest, where beach activities and raffle prizes are in store for Bora habitués. The event will begin with the Century Tuna Superbods walk-in go-see, where six contestants—three males and three females—will be chosen as wild card contestants for the finals. The go-see will happen at the Pier One beachfront from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Beach bums will also get a visual feast of stars, where celebrity guests and finalists will participate at the Century Tuna Celebrity Beach Games. See the participants warm up for some kayak relay, beach batons battle, beach tug-o-war, and obstacle course, among others.
Visitors who register at the Century Tuna booth will get free massages, henna tattoos, and hair braiding, plus a chance to win amazing prizes during the raffle where up for grabs are Sony PSP, Apple iPod Video, Canon Digital IXUS 850 IS, and Nokia N70 mobile phones, in exchange for labels of any variants of Century Tuna. What’s more, exciting prizes will be given away when they join the mini-games.
Then in the evening, Century Tuna will set the stage for Century Tuna Superbods 2007 Grand Finals Night, which will be hosted by VJ and TV host Iya Villania and actor-model Derek Ramsay. Thirty male and female aspiring models will vie for a chance to become Century Tuna’s male and female image models who not only have the X factor and passion for healthy lifestyle, but also a positive outlook in life, confidence and drive to succeed in whatever endeavor he or she pursues in life.
Winners of the image model search get to take home half a million pesos worth of one-year exclusive modeling contract with Century Tuna. One male and female finalist also get a chance to be chosen as this year’s People’s Choice Superbods, who will bag P50,000 in cash each.
