Kasafi seeks candidates of 2014 Mutya ag Lakan it Kalibo Ati-Atihan

Who will be the next reigning Mutya ag Lakan it Kalibo Ati-Atihan festival?

Kalibo Sto. Nino Ati-Atihan Foundation, Inc. (Kasafi) is still on the lookout for potential young men and women aspirants to compete in the 2014 Mutya ag Lakan it Kalibo Ati-Atihan beauty pageant. 

The top 24 Mutya and Lakan candidates will be selected through a series of screenings on three Saturdays - September 14, 21 and 28 at Kasafi office.

The competition is open to 15–24 years old single ladies, at least 5’3 tall and a naturally born Aklanon or born to Aklanon parents or a resident of the province for at least two years.

Young men from 15-25 years of age, single and at least 5’5 tall who are also interested in becoming the next Lakan it Kalibo Ati-Atihan should visit Kasafi office at 2nd Floor, Captain Gil Mijares Building in XIX Martyrs Street, Kalibo, Aklan.

The pageant finale of Mutya and Lakan of Kalibo Ati-Atihan for 2014 is reaching new heights with broadcast giant GMA Kapuso TV Network.

Albert Menez, who chairs the Kasafi, has announced that more GMA Kapuso artists and celebrity judges will highlight the Ati-Atihan pageant’s glitz and glamour. 

The prestigious pageant and coronation night will take place at Gov. Augusto B. Legaspi Sports and Cultural Center on January 10, 2014. 

The pageant, held in Kalibo, Aklan the past three years, promises to be an event filled with celebrities, works of art of fashion designers and a spectacular showcase of Aklanon culture and beauty.
